Yes, the Freedom 125 can start entirely in CNG mode. The engine keeps cycling to petrol routinely every so often to maintain proper functioning of its components.
What is the top speed of the Freedom 125?
Bajaj claims the Freedom 125 has a top speed of 90.4kph while running on CNG and if you switch to petrol it can go slightly higher, to 93.4kph.
How do I re-certify the CNG tank in the Freedom 125?
Bajaj says its dealers will help the customers in this re-certification process. The CNG tank will need to be re-certified every 2 years as opposed to most cars which have a 3 year timespan between re-certification.
What engine does it get; fuel efficiency of the Freedom 125?
The Freedom 125 is powered by an all-new air-cooled, 125cc single-cylinder ‘sloper’ engine. This bi-fuel capable engine produces 9.5hp at 8,000rpm and 9.7Nm at 6,000rpm.
